A sole entrepreneur who goes to the Business Creation Support Bureau (BCE) with its constitutional documents gets an appointment 24 hours later to withdraw:
- Notice of registration in the trade register
- Notice of registration in the NINEA
- A declaration of establishment
The documents that the entrepreneur needs to provide are:
If s/he is a Senegalese citizen :
- A criminal record check of no more than 3 months, or a declaration of compliance provided by BCE for applicants to fill and sign
- A certificate of residency from the police or municipal officer in its area of residence, issued upon proof of address given by the quarter head
- A marriage certificate (if appropriate)
- Two (02) fiscal stamps of 2000 CFA Francs (for registration in the trade register and for NINEA)
If s/he is a foreigner:
- Two (02) copies of the passport
- A criminal record check of no more than three months from the country of origin
- A certificate of residency (delivered by the police or municipal officer)
- A marriage certificate (if appropriate)
- Two (02) fiscal stamps of 2000 CFA Francs (for registration in the Trade Register and for NINEA)
Preliminary expenses
- 10 000 CFA Francs for court fees on sole proprietorships with no trade name;
- 20 000 CFA Francs for sole proprietorships with a trade name including:
- 10 000 CFA Francs for registering the trade name in the African Intellectual Property Organisation (OAPI);
- 10 000 CFA Francs for court fees.
